Pesto

Pesto


Best part about making pesto.... My kitchen smelling like one huge basil plant!!

3 cups basil leaves off the stems .....I just cleared out my garden since it's cold out now!
6 garlic cloves, crushed and diced
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup Fustini's Basil olive oil
1/4 cup Fustini's Meyer Lemon olive oil
1 tsp course sea salt

Mix all except cheese in Magic Bullet (or blender). Once blended then add cheese and blend one more time.

I like this with Farro but be sure to warm the pesto since it brings out the garlic and melts the cheese! Or serve it on pasta and add spinach into the pasta.
