Dark Chocolate Bark
Better than Dove dark chocolate........and I LOVE Dove! First I followed a recipe from Pinterest and then realized that agave is NOT good for you. See here: http://www.rodale.com/best-sweeteners?page=2 so I am going back to honey because that is the pure sugar with health benefits AND I have used blackstrap molasses before and that has a ton of iron. This is now my "dark chocolate bark 2.0"!!!
1/2 cup cocoa powder (I use special dark cocoa powder - it's much darker and good for you)
3 tbs coconut oil
2 tbs blackstrap molasses (not regular molasses it doesn't have the iron)
2 tbs honey
Melt oil and add the rest of the ingredients. I poured mixture and spread out thin on parchment paper on a pan and then put in the refrigerator to harden. Cut up and then store in container to have a piece each day.
